The power of BLACKPINK’s Jisoo: Sold out 35 shades of Dior Addict lipsticks at once, including refills 

All the Dior Addict lipsticks from Jisoo’s campaign went out of stock. Her impact is no joke.  

Not only in fashion but BLACKPINK’s Jisoo, the Global Ambassador of Dior, has also proved her impact and popularity when it comes to beauty products. According to a Korean makeup artist from the Dior International professional team, for the first time in history, all 35 shades of the Dior Addict lipstick collection were recently sold out at the same time in Korea, despite the attempts to refill. 

Yesterday, many customers who visited Dior Addict pop-up stores in Korea said that all shades were out of stock. People were waiting in line for the lipsticks to be restocked, and unfortunately, not everyone was able to get one. 


Even Dior professionals said this is the first time they have seen such a craze for Dior Addict lipsticks. In Korea, people call Dior Addict and Dior Rouge “the Jisoo lipstick”, because of her huge impact. Various shades from these two lipstick lines have appeared on SNS reviews posted by beauty gurus and customers.

Around mid-February, Jisoo appeared in a promotional video as she fronted Dior’s new campaign for the relaunch of Dior Addict lipsticks with actress Anya Taylor-Joy and model Sharon Alexie. Jisoo wore the Dior Addict lipstick in red, highlighting its classic shine and showing off her gorgeous beauty in the concept of a disco singer. 


Jisoo’s sexy heart-shaped lips go perfectly well with red lipstick. Looking at Jisoo’s beauty, it is not difficult to understand why she could sell out the lipsticks so fast.
