Complaints by singer IU’s staff caught the attention of netizens.
On March 2nd, a Facebook page called “Idol Research Institute” made a post saying, “Complaints about IU revealed by her staff.” The post contained a story about IU‘s past concert on YouTube. It talked about how IU’s concert was always long, and the singer always sang more songs than planned in the encore, making it the en-encore.
IU’s staff said, “The concert started at 5 o’clock, but it’s past 10 o’clock,” “If she’s gonna make it so long, I seriously think she should sign up for occupational health and safety insurance,” “She won’t be able to pick up a spoon when she goes home (because of exhaustion),” and “You wouldn’t know what song she’s going to sing next. She has too many songs,” “Her en-encore is so popular no one knows what song she’s going to sing next.”
The staff added, “Instead, IU always gives us handwritten letters and a 500 dollar gift of money for working overtime.” Netizens who saw the article commented, “I want to go to IU’s concert,” “It would be hard to do it for more than five hours,” “If it were me, I would be exhausted,” and “But the gift of money is so good.”
