The most successful fangirl among celebrities: From sharing the stage with Taylor Swift to hanging out with BLACKPINK

When BLACKPINK’s Lisa went to watch the second show of The Eras Tour in Singapore, it immediately grabbed everyone’s attention. Lisa went to Taylor Swift’s concert with her close celebrity friends, including former CLC member Sorn, and American singer Sabrina Carpenter. 

And anyone who’s a fan of both Taylor Swift and BLACKPINK surely knows that Sabrina Carpenter is the most successful fangirl.

Sabrina Carpenter, born in 1999, ranked 3rd in the contest to find Miley Cyrus’s successor. She successfully debuted as an actress and gradually transitioned into singing. Despite being only 25 years old, she has released 5 albums and held 4 solo tours. Notably, she has appeared as a guest in concerts by The Vamps, Ariana Grande (2017), and Taylor Swift (2023-2024).

Sabrina once shared her emotions when singing alongside her idol Taylor Swift: “The 9-year-old Sabrina singing White Horse will never believe this will happen! I really really really love Taylor. Thank you for welcoming me…”. 

Previously, Sabrina participated in a karaoke contest of Taylor’s hits to win tickets to the concert and meet the singer. However, she was quickly eliminated because she was only 9 years old while contestants had to be over 13.

Sabrina is also a huge BLACKPINK fan and she has ended up becoming friends with Lisa. In an interview, Sabrina admitted to being a fan of BLACKPINK. In 2022, she was photographed with both Rosé and Taylor Swift at the after-party of the Video Music Awards. 

Sabrina is particularly close to Lisa, constantly hanging out with the idol. Sabrina was one of the friends sitting next to Lisa at The Eras Tour in Singapore.
