“The Impossible Heir” Criticized for Most Useless K-drama Female Lead: “Give Us Nothing”

K-dramas often receive mixed reviews, but the female lead of “The Impossible Heir” seems to be hated by every audience.

While the K-drama “The Impossible Heir” boasts an impressive plot and intriguing characters, it is memorable for an extremely “wrong reason” – the infuriating female lead. In particular, the series’ character Na Hye-won, portrayed by Hong Su-zu, is being drowned in criticisms by audiences worldwide.

From the outset, Na Hye-won has raised concerns among viewers, who fear she will disrupt the friendships and plans of the two male leads, Han Tae-oh (played by Lee Jae-wook) and Kang In-ha (played by Lee Jun-young).

Unfortunately, these fears materialized, as the introduction of a new character interfering with the two men strategizing to take over a large conglomerate, along with an unnecessary love triangle, turned “The Impossible Heir” into a cliché-ridden drama with gaping plot holes.

So far, audiences find Hye-won’s character particularly irksome, especially in her simultaneous romantic involvement with both male leads. Despite being engaged to In-ha, she passionately kisses Tae-oh, and her “delusions” and “ambitions” ultimately leaves her with nothing.

Hye-won’s presence seems solely designed to provoke audience frustration, as viewers fail to discern her purpose in the series, given her lack of impact on In-ha’s inheritance storyline – the main focus of the show.

The unnecessary romantic subplot has completely derailed the series’ potential, prompting many viewers to demand the removal of this character to restore “The Impossible Heir” to its intended trajectory – filled with schemes and plots instead of pointless love drama.

As if this was not enough, many people cannot help but roll their eyes at the unfathomably poor acting skills of actress Hong Su-zu. It seems that Hong Su-zu’s first major role has given the audience a major ick, to the point they are saying that she “give us nothing”.

In fact, posts criticizing Hong Su-zu’s acting have taken up SNS platforms, and one edit of the actress’ “poor acting moments” even attracted millions of views.

Some even commented that they dropped “The Impossible Heir” altogether because they couldn’t bear watching Hong Su-zu.
