The hottest question right now: Will Taeyang (BIGBANG)’s first son be named… Field or Pork Cutlet?

Taeyang’s first son has just been born, but he was named by the BIGBANG uncles a long time ago. 

On the morning of December 6, the news that Min Hyo Rin gave birth to her first son and Taeyang (BIGBANG) officially became a father caused a stir on social networking sites. At the same time, netizens “digged” the story that BIGBANG had named Taeyang’s first child since 2015. In the 2015 DVD Welcoming Collection video, the members chose several names for Taeyang’s baby and the result made everyone… speechless.

According to G-Dragon, if Taeyang’s child is a girl, she must be given a beautiful name. Immediately, Daesung made a recommendation based on Taeyang’s real name Dong Young Bae, “The last name Dong means ‘the whole world’. Next, T.O.P also recommended a funny name, which is Dong Jeon (coin), the English name is “Coin” making the members burst into laughter.  The rapper of BIGBANG even got the idea to name Taeyang’s son Dong Kat Su, which is closer to the reading of tonkatsu – tried pork cutlet with breadcrumbs. 

Only Seungri appeared to be a realistic when give his bandmate’s son the name Dal (moon), as Taeyang means sun. The leader also came up with the phrase “Dong Bang Yee Ui Ji Gook“, with the reason that Korea is known as a gentle oriental country.

This story has been “dug up” by netizens and constantly shared because it’s too funny.  Netizens were all curious as to whether Taeyang’s first son had one of the names given to him by his beloved uncles.
