Various hypotheses surrounding the previously released trailers of “The Glory” Part 2 have emerged.
Among several hypotheses regarding the trailer of “The Glory” Part 2, the one that drew particular attention was the survival of Son Myeong Oh (Kim Gun Woo) and the speculation that it was Park Yeon Jin (Lim Ji Yeon) who attempted to kill him.
In particular, on February 28th of last month, the YouTube channel “Minhoaurs” published a video analyzing the official trailer for “The Glory” Part 2.
According to this YouTuber, the one who attacked Son Myeong Oh was wearing a gradient dress. If the brightness and color of this scene were adjusted, the color of the dress is green. Meanwhile, in one of Park Yeon Jin’s still cuts, she can be seen wearing a green dress.
“Minhoaurs” was also able to find a product with the same design as Park Yeon Jin’s outfit on an overseas site, which has a gradient skirt.
In addition, the weapon used to attack Son Myeong Oh was a 38-year-old Stone of Destiny product from Royal Salute, a premium whiskey brand that has now been discontinued.
Park Yeon Jin was shown enjoying alcohol in Part 1 of “The Glory”, and in Siesta, there is a scene where she drank whiskey after making love with Jeon Jae Joon (Park Sung Hoon).
Therefore, it was speculated that among the women who visited Siesta, only Park Yeon Jin knew the location of the high-end whiskey and could retrieve it at will.
It is also likely that Park Yeon Jin said that she would agree to Son Myeong Oh’s condition, called him to Siesta, gave him drugs, and killed him while he was unconscious.
In addition, another YouTuber said, “Moon Dong Eun (Song Hye Kyo) predicted that Son Myeong Oh would act arbitrarily, and it seems that she saved Son Myeong Oh at this scene.” According to this YouTuber, Moon Dong Eun probably does not want Myeong Oh to die, but rather to live with hellish pain as part of her revenge.
On the other hand, part 2 of the Netflix drama “The Glory” will be released on March 10th.
