“The Glory” director promises a perfect ending, “Episode 16 will be the most interesting”

“The Glory” production team and actors unveiled points to watch Part 2 ahead of its release.

The long-awaited “The Glory” Part 2 will finally premiere today (March 10th). Before the viewers immerse themselves in the remaining story, writer Kim Eun Sook, director Ahn Gil Ho and the cast actors unveiled points to focus on.

Meeting the audience at the global GV event and watching episodes 9 and 10 in advance, writer Kim Eun Sook said, “Did you enjoy episodes 9 and 10? It will be more interesting starting from episode 11. There are still 6 episodes left and they will be more enjoyable than what you have just seen”, showing her confidence in Part 2.

Director Ahn Gil Ho also added, “While working on Part 2, I asked the staff for their opinions, and they said that episode 10 is more fun than episode 9, and episode 11 is even more thrilling than the previous two episodes. Personally, I think episode 16 will be the most interesting”, promising a perfect ending for “The Glory”.

The cast actors also raised viewers’ anticipation by hinting at their expected highlights.

Song Hye Kyo made the audience curious about how the characters will fall into the trap that Dong Eun has meticulously set up in Part 1, saying “I wonder whether all the storylines Dong Eun laid out will come together.”

Jung Sung Il, Kim Hieora, Cha Joo Young, and Kim Gun Woo also shared some keywords.

Jung Sung Il mentioned a new buzzword, saying that Part 2 will be a mixture of chaos, destruction, and oblivion. Kim Hieora and Cha Joo Young, respectively, described the ending of “The Glory” using simple but relatable words such as “awesome” and “amazing”. They emphasized that the finale of this drama cannot be expressed solely through words, stimulating curiosity. Meanwhile, Kim Gun Woo said, “It’s a mystery”, asking viewers to watch and unravel hidden narratives such as the whereabouts of his character Son Myung Oh.

Part 2 of “The Glory” will be available on Netflix at 5 p.m. on March 10th.
