Cha Joo Young, who plays Choi Hye Jeong, one of the five perpetrators of school violence in Netflix’s “The Glory,” is returning in KBS2’s new weekend drama.
Cha Joo Young will appear alongside Baek Jin Hee and Ahn Jae Hyun in KBS2’s upcoming weekend drama “The Real Deal Has Come”, which is scheduled to air in March.
“The Real Deal Has Come” is a story about the romance between a single mother and an unmarried man surrounding the ‘real’ baby in her belly. Baek Jin Hee plays Oh Yeon Doo, an internet teacher specializing in Korean language. Ahn Jae Hyun plays Gong Tae Kyung, an obstetrician and gynecologist who is not married. Cha Joo Young plays Gong Tae Kyung’s friend and chief secretary of a large company, Jang Se Jin.
Cha Joo Young made her debut through the 2016 tvN’s drama “Cheese in the Trap”. She has since appeared in the dramas “Moonlight Drawn by Clouds”, “The Gentlemen of Wolgyesu Tailor Shop”, “Wok of Love”, and “Again My Life”.
In Netflix’s “The Glory”, she plays Choi Hye Jeong, one of the five perpetrators of school violence against Moon Dong Eun (Song Hye Kyo). Unlike Park Yeon Jin (Lim Ji Yeon), Jeon Jae Joon (Park Sung Hoon), and Lee Sa Ra (Kim Hieora), Choi Hye Jeong is the daughter of a laundromat owner who is not rich.
After she becomes an adult, Choi Hye Jeong gets a job as an air stewardess and dreams of improving her status by marrying rich.
