Ryu Jun-yeol & Hyeri Became Artists Under Same Agency? “Independent Management Remains Despite Acquisition”
Ryu Jun-yeol’s agency C-JeS will be managing Hyeri’s activities after acquiring the actress’s agency Creative Group ING?
According to the Financial Supervisory Service’s Data Analysis, Retrieval and Transfer System on April 5th, C-JeS Studio, the company that is managing Ryu Jun-yeol, has acquired 100% of the shares of Creative Group ING, Hyeri‘s agency, with a price of 1.3 billion won.
After the news broke out, many people speculated that would integrate their management systems and manage all their artists together. In fact, C-Jes and Creative Group ING have been operating independently, but the largest shareholder of both companies is the same person, known to be C-JeS’s CEO Baek Chang-joo.
Ryu Jun-yeol, Seol Kyung-gu, Ra Mi-ran, Uhm Ji-won, Park Byung-eun, Park Sung-woong, Cha Shi-ra, Oh Dal-soo, singer Gummy, and Noeul are the artists under C-JeS, while Creative Group ING is managing only Hyeri.
In response to rumors of Ryu Jun-yeol and Hyeri being under the same company even after their breakup based on the merger and acquisition articles, Creative Group ING explained, “The merger and acquisition occurred as part of the financial accounting rearrangements in preparation for the listing of C-Jes”, adding “Creative Group ING, which is managing Hyeri, is a corporate advertising agency established five years ago only as a subsidiary“.
They continued, “Hyeri signed the contract for the management of her activities with the advertising agency Creative Group ING from the beginning. It’s an independent one-person company”.
Meanwhile, Hyeri and Ryu Jun Yeol were recently caught up in a triangle love controversy with Han So Hee. Accordingly, Han So-hee and Ryu Jun-yeol were in a romantic relationship and they spent time together in Hawaii. This news garnered massive attention, as Han So-hee and Ryu Jun-yeol allegedly met just 2 days after the latter revealed his break-up with Hyeri after 7 years of dating.
On top of that, Hyeri also posted a curious Instagram story and unfollowed Ryu Jun-yeol’s SNS after Han So-hee and Ryu Jun-yeol’s dating news, invoking rumors of a “transit love”. Han So Hee and Ryu Jun Yeol later confirmed breaking up after only 2 weeks of public dating.
