The actor who was “The World of the Married” villain is playing the older version of Park Bo Gum in an upcoming drama 

Actor Park Hae Joon, who gained attention for playing the villain Lee Tae Oh, the hottest drama of 2020, “The World of the Married”, is making a comeback.

Park Hae Joon is an actor from the Han Ye Jong Theater Academy. According to his senior Lee Sun Kyun, Park Hae Joon was called “2nd generation Jang Dong Gun” for his sculpture-like visuals during college. In fact, if you look at Park Hae Joon’s past photos, you can’t help but be stunned by how handsome he looked. 

Park Hae Joon started his activities on the theater stage in the mid-2000s. In 2012, he made his face known to the public for the first time by playing a vicious loan shark in director Byun Young Joo’s mystery thriller film “Helpless”.

Since then, he has been actively starring in movies such as “Hwayi: A Monster Boy”, “Emergency Declaration”, “Believer”, and dramas such as “My Mister”, and “The World of the Married”.

Park Hae Joon made headlines last year with his role in the drama “I Have Not Done My Best Yet.” This year, he has confirmed his appearance in “You Have Done Well”, a drama that unfolds the adventure-filled life of Ae Soon, a rebel born in Jeju, and Gwan Sik, someone who falls in love with her. 

Park Hae Joon will take on the role of the main character Gwan Sik and act alongside Moon So Ri in the role of Ae Soon. Park Bo Gum has been selected to play the young Gwan Sik, while IU is cast as the young Ae Soon.

As soon as the casting news was announced, it became a hot topic among netizens for the excellent combination of the four actors. Pre-production of “You Have Done Well” will start in the first half of this year. The drama is set to be released in the second half of 2023 or early 2024.

Park Bo-gum

The script of “You Have Done Well” is written by Lim Sang Chun, who created a syndrome with “Fight for My Way” and “When the Camellia Blooms”, and directed by Kim Won Seok, the director of “Signal” and “My Mister”.
