Teaser schedule for TWICE Jihyo’s solo debut has been unveiled

The full timetable of the teaser schedule for TWICE Jihyo’s solo debut has been released, raising anticipation.

TWICE Jihyo will release her first mini-album “ZONE” at 1 PM (KST) on August 18th and make her debut as a solo artist. At midnight on July 22nd, JYP Entertainment (hereafter JYP) posted the full timetable image on their official SNS channel.

The revealed timetable includes three weeks filled with exciting teasers, delighting global ONCEs (fans of TWICE). In particular, from July 29th to 31st, Jihyo will start with a spoiler event, allowing fans to get a sneak peek at the track “Killin’ Me Good”. Also on July 31st, the tracklist will be revealed, followed by an opening trailer on August 2nd, a snippet of “Killin’ Me Good” on the 4th, and concept photos from August 7th to 10th. 

Album sneak peeks, meanwhile, will be unveiled on the 11th and 16th, while music video teasers will be released on the 14th and 17th. Finally, on the album’s release day, August 18th, Jihyo will hold a comeback live and meet with fans.

Expectations are soaring for Jihyo, who is the second member of TWICE to make a solo debut, after Nayeon.

On the other hand, back on July 6th (local time), TWICE performed a solo concert at the MetLife Stadium in New York, setting a record as the “first Kpop girl group” to sell out the venue. Here, they surprised over 50,000 audiences by releasing a trailer video for Jihyo’s 1st solo album, “ZONE”.

In the trailer, Jihyo impressed with her confident aura while riding a magnificent bike and a flashy sports car, exciting both online and offline spectators. At the same time, Kpop fans in general showed enormous anticipation and excitement for Jihyo as a solo artist, creating buzz. The platform YouTube Music even posted a tweet on their official Twitter account about Jihyo’s solo debut, attracting attention.

Meanwhile, TWICE successfully concluded their fifth world tour “READY TO BE’, with which they achieved various top records, including being the “first girl group in the world” to perform at and sell out LA’s Sofi Stadium and New York’s MetLife Stadium.

The North American leg of the tour attracted a total of 250,000 fans in 13 shows across 9 cities, setting a new record for the “most attended” North American tour by a girl group. Leading media outlets in the US, such as the Grammy Awards, Variety, and NBC’s “TODAY”, focused on TWICE’s extraordinary achievements and introduced them as “K-pop queens,” showcasing their status as a “global top-tier girl group.”

Jihyo’s solo debut album “ZONE” and the title track “Killin’ Me Good” will be officially released on August 18 at 1 PM KST.
