“HYBE’s first Japanese group” &TEAM releases debut trailer narrated by Kentaro Sakaguchi

“HYBE’s first Japanese group” &TEAM started their full-fledged debut promotion by releasing a short and intense debut trailer.

HYBE Labels Japan’s &TEAM (K, Fuma, Nicholas, EJ, Yuma, Jo, Harua, Taki, Maki) released their debut trailer on HYBE Labels’ YouTube channel at 6 PM on Nov 8th. In particular, Kentaro Sakaguchi, one of Japan’s leading actors, drew attention as he narrated the video. In addition, Junji Ishiwatari, a famous Japanese lyricist and music producer, participated as the writer who conceived the entire storyline as well as the narration. As such, &TEAM showed their unique presence by collaborating with prominent artists from the beginning.

&TEAM

The debut trailer released on this day captures &TEAM’s aspiration to go to a wider world and connect various worlds with werewolves as the material. The video begins from the point of view of a wolf running through the vast Mother Nature. The narration “From howling comes strength / Howling together, the pack can reach greater heights” talks about “solidarity”, a habit of wolves.

When the red full moon rises, the howling of the wolves is heard, and “lone wolf boy” Harua appears with the words “With my pack, I can become a better version of myself”. K, Fuma, Nicholas, EJ, Yuma, Jo, Taki and Maki reach out to Harua and finally become peers. The last phrase “With the power of positivity and high spirits, we race toward a new world / We are &TEAM / Will you run with us?” raised expectations for the journey of 9 boys.

&TEAM

Meanwhile, &TEAM will debut on Dec 7th. They are a group created through HYBE Labels Japan’s global group debut project “&AUDITION – The Howling -“. The group name &TEAM implies the will of 9 people with different personalities to become a team and connect various worlds. “HYBE’s first Japanese group” &TEAM is expected to show HYBE’s know-how, which have been accumulated on the global stage beyond Korea and Japan.
