“Sweet and Sour Chicken”, Netflix series production… Director Lee Byeong-heon reunites with Ryu Seung-ryong X Ahn Jae-hong
Netflix will produce the webtoon “Sweet and Sour Chicken” as a series. Director Lee Byeong-heon and Ryu Seung-ryong of “Extreme Job” joined forces.
“Sweet and Sour Chicken” is a comedy mystery crime drama. One day, the daughter Min-ah enters a mysterious machine and turns into fried chicken. Her father Sun-man struggles to turn her back to human.
Lee Byeong-heon will be in charge of directing. Director Lee showed rhythmic word tastes and pleasant development in “Twenty”, “Extreme Job” and “Be Melodramatic”.
Ryu Seung-ryong and Ahn Jae-hong will meet director Lee Byeong-heon for the second time. Ryu Seung-ryong and Ahn Jae-hong worked with director Lee in “Extreme Job” and “Be Melodramatic”, respectively.
Ryu Seung-ryong will play Choi Sun-man, the president of machines. He is a father who tries to turn his daughter, who turns into fried chicken, back to human. Once again, Ryu Seung-ryong’s humor will be presented.
Ahn Jae-hong will transform into the weird intern Ko Baek-joong. Baek-joong is a man who has a crush on Min-ah, the president’s daughter. Baek-joong also tries to turn Min-ah back to human.
Kim Yoo-jung will make a special appearance as the daughter Min-ah. Min-ah enters a mysterious machine thinking that it is a fatigue recovery machine. Kim Yoo-jung will join hands with director Lee and exude her unique charm.
“Sweet and Sour Chicken” will be exclusively released through Netflix.
