Surpassing ‘A Business Proposal’ and other hot TV series, this is the highest-rated Korean drama recently

This drama received an almost perfect score of 9.3 points on IMDb

‘A Business Proposal’ is currently a hot drama on social networks, the rating is also continuously growing, but in fact, this is not the highest-rated drama recently.  In the drama field, ‘Twenty Five, Twenty One’ is highly appreciated for its quality, while, on social networks and drama review sites, it is ‘Semantic Error’ that has received a lot of praise.

Semantic Error

Semantic Error’ is a boy love (BL) drama adapted from the webtoon of the same name, starring two young actors Park Seo Ham and Park Jae Chan.  Since it’s a BL drama, it’s understandable that ‘Semantic Error’ isn’t airing on TV, so its reputation is somewhat inferior to the recently released dramas.  However, ‘Semantic Error’ received extremely good reviews on film review sites, even being the Korean drama that received the highest score in the first quarter of 2022.

Semantic Error

On IMDb, the drama received an almost perfect score of 9.3 points, while its closest competitor, ‘Twenty Five, Twenty One’ received 9.0 points.  These are the two Korean works that received the highest scores in the list of dramas released earlier this year.  On Douban, a review website in China, where BL works are banned, Semantic Error still appeared and received a score of 8.7.

Semantic Error tells the love story of game developer Choo Sang Woo and designer Jang Jae Young.  Choo Sang Woo is a principled person, he is a student of the Faculty of Computer Engineering.  Jang Jae Young is the star of the school and an introvert, with a model-like body and good looks.  He is a student of the Faculty of Design.
