“Supporting Hitler + sexually abusing 9-year-old daughter” The Reason Why Korean Stars Under Fire For Attending Kanye West’s concert

On the 23rd, Kanye West’s concert, titled “Ye x Ty Dolla Sign Vultures Listening Experience,” was held at Goyang Sports Complex. This was Kanye West’s first concert in South Korea in 14 years since the “Summer Week&T” hip-hop festival at Naksan Beach in 2010. Many K-pop artists, including NewJeans and TREASURE, attended the concert and enjoyed the performance.

However, there has been a backlash against the artists who attended the concert.

This reaction stems from Kanye West’s controversial actions, such as declaring white supremacy, making anti-Semitic remarks by threatening to go “death con 3 on Jewish people,” supporting Hitler, and endorsing Nazism. He has also been criticized for sexually harassing Taylor Swift, threatening and abusing students and staff at Donda Academy (a private alternative school he founded), failing to pay wages, and publicly supporting Bill Cosby, who has been accused of sexually assaulting at least 30 women. Additionally, last year, he held a “Nytamori” birthday party where sushi was served on a naked woman, and he faced criticism for involving his then 9-year-old daughter, which was seen as sexually abusive to a minor.

Given Kanye West’s long history of controversies, the celebrities who attended his concert are also facing significant public scrutiny.

During the concert, Kanye West exhibited rude behavior, starting the listening party at 9:10 PM, 70 minutes later than the originally scheduled 8:00 PM.
