On August 25, business news outlet Edaily reported that the couple purchased a detached house and adjacent land in Pyeongchang-dong for 6.05 billion won in cash last August.
Lee Hyori is said to own three-quarters of the property, while Lee Sang-soon holds the remaining share. The house, which has a total floor area of approximately 330 square meters (about 100 pyeong), includes a basement and two above-ground floors.
Pyeongchang-dong is already home to many celebrities, including actor Choi Soo Jong and Ha Hee Ra, Yoo Hae-jin, broadcaster Hong Jin-kyung, and singer Yoon Jong Shin.
Earlier, Lee Hyori and Lee Sang-soon hinted in web entertainment content that they would move to Seoul in September, citing a desire to be more active in their entertainment careers.
