He continued, “As you all know, I’m dating this friend. During the time we spent together, I naturally developed the desire to create another family with her”, adding “This is not a sudden decision. After thinking and discussing with the members and the company for a long time, I’ve decided that I will hold a wedding at the end of May this spring.”

Ryeowook also expressed his gratitude to fans and apologized to them. He said, “I’m always grateful to E.L.F who always supports me even though I am, as Kim Ryeo-wook, still not perfect and clumsy. I also feel so sorry for startling many of you with this news. Nevertheless, I really want to show you my hard-working side as I will continue to be singer Ryeowook and Super Junior’s Ryeowook for you all, who always support me and want to listen to my songs”, confessing his extraordinary love for fans.
