In particular, in the interview, which was conducted in 2019, Sulli commented on the Korean entertainment industry, and even described her experience as a K-pop idol as the worst thing ever. It is known that this is Sulli’s last interview before her passing in the same year.

In particular, Sulli said, “From my perspective, people don’t see us (celebrities) as humans. When I first entered the entertainment industry, there’s something that I believed at the time, and that people won’t stop telling me, which is ‘You are a product’ and ‘You must be the best product with the best quality for the public’. Even when people don’t call me a product, they would treat me like one. I have to be something they want. I have to fear losing my ‘product quality’”.

Then, when the director asked how she coped with being tightly controlled and held on a chokehold, Sulli answered, “For me, I blame myself. That’s the only thing I have control over. I only ever feel in control when I hurt myself, when I blame myself, and when I criticize myself”.
