Sudden dating rumor between BLACKPINK’s Rosé and Kang Dong Won, who are 16 years old apart, is rapidly spreading
A dating rumor has been raised between BLACKPINK’s Rosé and actor Kang Dong Won.
Recently, an online community post titled “Evidence proving that Kang Dong Won and Rosé are currently dating has been revealed” was published. According to the post, the two are currently in a relationship and several pieces of evidence have been captured.
The original poster (OP) claimed that Rosé and Kang Dong Won wore necklaces and matching outfits from the same brand, John Elliott. OP also pointed out that the two were spotted in the same place. In fact, there is a photo of the two attending an art fair held in Seoul’s COEX in 2022. OP added that the two share mutual friends.
OP mentioned that a recent photo of the two attending a gathering together had been deleted. The two enjoyed a gathering with famous figures in the fashion industry, and although a photo was uploaded at the time, it was quickly deleted.
It is particularly noteworthy that Rosé is 27 years old this year, while Kang Dong Won is 43 years old. In addition, the two are actively pursuing careers as a singer and actor, respectively, and have no common ground other than having been in the same agency until last year.
Currently, only Rosé is under YG Entertainment. Kang Dong Won signed an exclusive contract with YG Entertainment in 2016 and stayed until last year. It was announced that he would establish his own one-man agency after the expiration of the exclusive contract.

Previously, YG announced a strong response to malicious rumors about Rosé spreading in China about drug use. YG stated that “the rumor about BLACKPINK Rosé that is spreading on some online communities and social media is a clear falsehood,” and they will take legal action.
