On this day, Professor Jeong Jae Seung mentioned Kpop fandoms as examples of people who are hostile to each other despite having no relationship between them.

In particular, the professor said, “The fandoms of Sechs Kies and H.O.T. were hostile to each other.”

Upon hearing this, Sechs Kies member Eun Ji Won, who is directly involved, agreed. “They were hostile to each other. There was even violence,” he said, surprising everyone.

Then, when asked if there were many malicious comments back then, Eun Ji Won revealed, “Rather than malicious comments, there were malicious acts,” eliciting laughter.

On the other hand, Sechs Kies and H.O.T. are known to be extremely famous boy groups that heralded the 1st generation of Kpop. At the time, the two groups’ fandoms boasted intense rivalry, to the point of fighting in person.
