Students voted for Top 2 singers whose performances will heat up a university festival’s atmosphere the most
PSY and aespa were selected as the 1st and 2nd most picked guest celebrities to perform at Dongguk University.
On May 27th, Money Today reported on the results of a survey on the singers whose performances students of Dongguk University want to see the most at their university festival. As a result, PSY and aespa came out at 1st and 2nd place.
Ahn Hyun Min, chairman of Dongguk University’s banquet committee, said that he was planning a university festival to take place in September and revealed that the students wanted to see PSY the most, followed by aespa.
In an interview with Money Today on the same day, an official from Dongguk University said, “The cost of inviting celebrities has increased compared to before the pandemic. In terms of cost, the burden is real. We will do our best to prepare for the festival for our students to enjoy.”
On the other hand, aespa has recently been receiving positive responses with their performances at university festivals. In particular, Winter drove the on-site students and netizens wild after she appeared with pigtails and lively highteen-inspired fashion at Hanyang University on May 26th. At Korea University on the same day, she transformed into a sexy concept with her wavy hair down, boasting a reverse charm.
