A heart-stealer on the screen

Park Hae Jin was born in a divorced family that had nothing to do with the arts. However, with his outstanding height and visuals, Hae Jin decided to try his hand at acting in the 2006 KBS drama “Famous Chil Princesses”. This was his first step to stardom, and even earned him the title of Best New Actor at KBS Drama Awards.

In 2007 and 2008, the actor continued to hit it big with roles in “Heaven & Earth” and “East of Eden”. His portrayal of the villainous Shin Myung Hoon in the latter was highly praised, and contributed greatly to the massive success of the series both across Asia. As a result, his standing in the entertainment industry was elevated to a whole new level.

In 2013, the actor’s popularity exploded even further with his return in the huge hit “My Love From The Star” . Despite only playing the second male lead, Park Hae Jin drew just as much attention as major actors Jun Ji Hyun and Kim Soo Hyun. Then, to take it even further, the actor continued to woo more hearts as the second leads of “Doctor Stranger” and “Bad Guys”
