Stray Kids Becomes the First K-pop Boy Group to Headline 2 Major Overseas Festivals in a Row

As announced on the official social media channels of I-Days and BST Hyde Park on January 30th, Stray Kids will first perform as headliners at I-Days on July 12th in Milan, followed by a consecutive appearance as the headliner on July 14th at BST Hyde Park in London.

I-Days, a festival that started in 1999, has seen the participation of renowned artists such as Green Day, Liam Gallagher, Blink 182, Justin Bieber, and this year boasts a splendid lineup including legendary band Metallica, Doja Cat, Lana Del Rey, Bring Me The Horizon, Sum41, among others.

Stray Kids will be the first K-pop artist and headliner at the festival. Similarly, at the globally acclaimed music festival BST Hyde Park in the UK, Stray Kids will be the first K-pop boy group to take the stage as headliners.

Recently, Stray Kids made history for K-pop boy groups by participating in the charity event ‘Le Gala des Pièces Jaunes’ held at the Accor Arena in Paris. The event, organized by the French hospital foundation ‘Opération pièces jaunes,’ led by French First Lady Brigitte Macron, aims to raise funds for hospitalized children and teenagers. Stray Kids, known for their chart-topping third album ‘★★★★★ (5-STAR)’ attended and showcased their ‘performance mastery.

Stray Kids has continued to solidify their position as a global trend. Their latest title track ‘LALALALA’ MVsurpassed 100 million views on YouTube, earning them the title of ‘Most MVs with Over 1 Billion Views Among 4th Generation K-pop Boy Groups.’ 

Additionally, they are nominated for ‘Group and Duo of the Year’ at the ‘People’s Choice Awards’ in the USA on February 18th and ‘K-pop Artist of the Year’ and ‘K-pop Song of the Year’ at the ‘2024 iHeartRadio Music Awards’ on April 1st.
