STAYC sold 200,000 copies of their album in the first week, breaking their own record

Kpop girl group STAYC is proving their unstoppable growing popularity.

According to Hanteo Chart, as of July 26th, the first week sales of STAYC’s 3rd single album “WE NEED LOVE”, which was released on July 19th, was 201,072 copies.

This number, which is STAYC’s personal record, far exceeded the group’s 2nd mini album “YOUNG-LUV.COM”, which was released in February and sold 153,301 copies within the first week. Over time, STAYC has been growing step by step with rising first week sales through each of their release, proving their expanded global status.

Through “WE NEED LOVE”, STAYC showed their more mature musical capabilities with solid singing skills as if the group were all main vocalists. The MV for their title song “Beautiful Monstra”, which contains STAYC’s unique visuals and transformation, has surpassed 30 million YouTube views and is steadily gaining popularity among Kpop fans.

“Beautiful Monster” is a song that captures the fear hidden behind the happiness of love, delivered with the explosive vocals of the six members. In addition, their addictive choreography point for the song has also gone viral.

STAYC is actively promoting their new single on various music shows and via other contents.
