The drama “7 Escape” starring Lee Yu Bi, Lee Seung Gi’s sister-in-law, confirmed the production of season 2.
According to donga.com on Feb 24th, SBS’ drama “7 Escape” was decided to continue until season 2.
“7 Escape” is a new work by writer Kim Soon Ok, who wrote “Penthouse”. It depicts the story of seven people involved in the case of a missing girl, who face huge events intertwined with many lies and desires.
Um Ki Joon, Hwang Jung Eum, Lee Joon, Lee Yu Bi, Shin Eun Kyung, Yoon Jong Hoon, Jo Yoon Hee, Jo Jae Yoon and Lee Deok Hwa will appear in “7 Escape”. It is scheduled to premiere in September.
Um Ki Joon, who was cast as the leading actor, plays Matthew Lee, the representative of Korea’s largest mobile platform.
Hwang Jung Eum takes on the role of Geum Ra Hee, the CEO of a drama production company. To receive a huge inheritance, Geum Ra Hee tries to find her daughter whom she abandoned 15 years ago.
Lee Yu Bi plays Han Mo Ne, a high school student who wants to become an idol. Lee Joon plays Min Do Hyeok, a man who used to be a gangster.
Lee Deok Hwa plays building owner Bang Chil Sung, while Shin Eun Kyung plays Cha Ju Ran, an OB-GYN who lives with Bang Chil Sung and loves the money Bang Chil Sung has.
Finally, Jo Jae Yoon plays detective squad chief Nam Cheol Woo. Jo Yoon Hee plays art teacher Go Myung Ji, and Yoon Jong Hoon plays Yang Jin Mo, the CEO of an entertainment agency.
