“Squid Game 2” reportedly holds script reading next week, signaling start of production

The production of Netflix’s “Squid Game Season 2” will begin in earnest with a script reading session.

On June 16th, an entertainment industry insider said to Sports Chosun, “Netflix’s original series ‘Squid Game 2’ production team plans to hold the script reading of the whole cast next week on June 23rd.”

The production team of “Squid Game 2”, which is being prepared secretly, will start their journey with the script reading. The first filming is scheduled to take place in early July. With the announcement that Lee Jung Jae and Lee Byung Hun, the leading cast of Season 1, had decided to join the second season, fans are looking forward to the new drama.
