Song Joong Ki reportedly met with BBC officials, to follow British wife Katy to work in the U.K.?

There is a rumor that Song Joong Ki will enter the U.K. film industry with the influence of his British wife.

On January 30th, Song Joong Ki made a post on fancafe, announcing the news of his remarriage with Katy Louise Saunders and her pregnancy.

On the same day, the actor’s agency HighZium Studio stated, “Song Joong Ki has completed his marriage registration with former British actress Katy Louise Saunders. His wife is currently pregnant”. The agency continued, “They will hold a wedding but no specific time has been decided. They are enjoying their newlywed life in both Korea and the U.K.”, adding “We cannot confirm Katy’s due date because it’s their personal issue”.

According to reports, Song Joong Ki and Katy have set up their newlywed home in Itaewon. After getting pregnant, Katy called her mother to Korea to help her prepare for the birth of their baby.

Pointing out the agency’s position that Song Joong Ki and Katy will spend their newlywed life in both Korea and the U.K., netizens are raising the possibility that Song Joong Ki will also carry out activities in the U.K. 

Earlier, it was reported that Song Joong Ki had a meeting with BBC officials after publicizing his romantic relationship with Katy, drawing attention.

As the agency also said that there are no restrictions on the area of Song Joong Ki’s activities and that the actor will gladly join any acting project if he thinks it’s a good one, many people think Song Joong Ki can possibly enter the U.K for his acting career.
