JTBC’s Friday drama My Youth, which premiered with a 2.9% viewership rating, has since declined, with its fifth episode dropping to a series-low of 1.9%. However, OTT platform Viu announced that My Youth ranked first among Korean dramas in Indonesia, Hong Kong, Thailand, and Singapore during the second week of September (September 8–14).

My Youth follows Sunwoo Hae (played by Song Joong-ki), who, after deciding to embrace a quieter life, unexpectedly reunites with his first love, Sung Je-yeon (Chun Woo-hee). Their encounter rekindles forgotten memories of youth in a touching romance filled with warmth and nostalgia.
The drama has also garnered positive reviews from international media. Hong Kong’s South China Morning Post praised it as a “hazy and nostalgic romantic drama,” while Singapore’s The Straits Times highlighted it as “Song Joong-ki’s long-awaited return to romance, bringing back heart-fluttering emotions.”

Viu, Asia’s largest pan-regional OTT platform operated by Hong Kong’s PCCW, continues to showcase top Korean content to audiences across Asia, the Middle East, and Africa. Currently streaming titles like My Youth and My Troublesome Star, the platform also plans to release anticipated series such as Taxi Driver 3.
