On December 16, fashion magazine Harper’s Bazaar released Song Hye-kyo’s latest cover pictorial, capturing her fresh, androgynous charm paired with a calm yet powerful presence. The concept, titled “Flower from Concrete,” portrays beauty blooming against a modern white villa backdrop, emphasizing resilience and inner strength.

Across three different covers, Song Hye-kyo showcases flawless proportions and her signature ageless beauty. She effortlessly pulls off soft pink and blue looks, as well as a floral-embroidered hoodie zip-up, embodying the theme like a flower blooming through concrete. As a Fendi ambassador for five consecutive years, she once again collaborated with the brand’s upcoming 2026 Spring/Summer collection.

In the interview following the shoot, Song Hye-kyo opened up about her next drama Show Business, marking a reunion with renowned writer Noh Hee-kyung. She spoke candidly about her role as Min-ja, a woman driven more by success than love.

“Min-ja is someone who values success above all else and will stop at nothing to achieve it. She lives with the mindset that the world is beneath her,” Song Hye-kyo explained.

“Watching her climb from the bottom is intense and heartbreaking. Sometimes, just thinking about her at home brings me to tears.”

Regarding her short haircut, Song Hye-kyo revealed it was a suggestion from writer Noh Hee-kyung.

“I believe a character begins to take shape the moment you start thinking about their style,” she said. “ The writer told me she imagined Min-ja with short hair and gently suggested a short cut. She even worried it might be a big step for an actress but for me, if it fits Min-ja, there was nothing to fear.”

Song Hye-kyo also reflected on personal growth, sharing that she has been writing a gratitude journal for the past five years alongside Noh Hee-kyung a habit that helped her learn how to truly love herself.

“When I’m working, I think about my role all day. But when I’m not, I try to empty my thoughts,” she said. “Instead, I focus on simple plans walking my dog, cleaning the house, finishing tasks one by one.”

She added: “Of course, there are days when I feel low. But now I know how to lift myself back up. Writing a gratitude journal doesn’t mean life is always happy but it taught me how to love myself on any kind of day.”

At 32 years old, Song Hye-kyo continues to reinvent herself both visually and emotionally. With Show Business, she signals yet another bold chapter in her acting journey.

Sometimes, transformation isn’t about doing more but about stripping things away to reveal who you are now.
