Song Hye-kyo Reveals Criteria to Select Acting Projects, Which Has Changed from the Past

According to actress Song Hye-kyo, her criteria for choosing new acting projects have changed compared to in the past.

On May 27, a video featuring Song Hye-kyo was published on the YouTube channel “Harper’s BAZAAR Korea”.

In the video, Song Hye-kyo mentioned how people don’t know her true personality, as well as discussed her strengths and positive mindset.

Additionally, the actress revealed her criteria to select acting projects, saying, “When I was younger, I used to think ‘as long as the script is interesting, it’s fine.’ Nowadays, no matter how interesting the script is, it’s really important who is making it. The production team can significantly change the project, so now the script is important, but so are the staff, the director, and the people who can enhance the character.”

Finally, Song Hye-kyo confessed her preference for Americano over latte, saying, “I don’t like sweet things.” However, she mentioned that despite avoiding sweets, she usually eats cookies during shoots.

She also said that she personally thinks of the messages when sending coffee trucks but tends to keep them normal because she’s “not good at writing cheesy lines.”
