Actress Song Da Eun has once again fueled speculation about her rumored relationship with BTS member Jimin after posting an unexpected TikTok video that left fans divided.
The clip shows Song Da Eun waiting in an elevator believed to be inside Nine One Hannam, the luxury Seoul residence where Jimin currently lives. As the doors open, Jimin steps inside and appears startled, exclaiming, “Oh, you scared me! Did you know I was coming in? I didn’t tell you on purpose.” Song is heard laughing at the playful encounter.
The upload immediately went viral, reigniting dating rumors that first surfaced in 2022. For years, Song Da Eun had firmly denied knowing Jimin, even responding directly to fans who accused her of being romantically linked to the idol.
During a livestream in June, Song became emotional while addressing the controversy, saying, “Just because the idol you like loves me doesn’t mean I deserve to be attacked. I didn’t make the first move. So stop blaming me, okay?”
The speculation had quieted down while Jimin was serving his mandatory military duty, but the video uploaded by Song has sparked new debate online. In various Korean communities, netizens expressed mixed reactions: some criticized Song for knowingly reigniting rumors, while others defended her, pointing out the years of harassment she endured.
Comments included:
“She’s always trying to stir things up when it gets quiet.”
“She must’ve struggled so much mentally. Maybe she just gave up after years of harassment.”
“If they’re still together after all this, it must be real love.”
With the video now circulating widely, the ongoing debate highlights the tense relationship between idol privacy, fandom expectations, and public scrutiny.
