After reuniting in the drama “Crash Landing on You”, the two developed into real lovers and eventually announced their marriage.

Son Ye-jin shared, “I thought If I were actually married, I would have a child at this age so the audience would find it realistic and easily accept it. The way I play a mother might be different from that of actresses who already experienced childbirth, but I don’t think it would look awkward”.
She continued by bringing up her own story, saying, “It might be because I’m not married yet. I think maternity must be in my instinct since I’m also a woman. I heard it would feel different if you have a child for real. I have a nephew. I’m not the type of person who loves children that much, but now that I have a nephew, I really cherish him.”
Naturally, questions about her ideal time also came up. When asked, “Do you have an ideal type whom you want to marry?”, Son Ye-jin spent a while thinking and replied “I have” with a smile. She added, “But people around me said that no one would match my ideal type”, arousing people’s curiosity.
