BTS’s Jungkook exceeds 39 million followers and ranks 1st in the number of daily followers on Instagram
BTS’s Jungkook proves his global popularity through a strong increase in Instagram followers.
According to K-pop Radar, Jungkook topped the ranking of daily Instagram followers on May 13th. Specifically, Jungkook’s Instagram saw an increase of more than 61,000 followers in one day. As of the same day, Jungkook’s Instagram surpassed 39 million followers in total, strengthening his status as a “social media king”.
Jungkook was not active on Instagram until recently, but his follower count has been increasing rapidly and getting close to 40 million in just two weeks after exceeding 38 million on April 25th.
Jungkook proudly ranked among celebrities including world-renowned sports stars, pop singers, Hollywood actors, politicians,… in ‘Instagram Top 1000’, a ranking of the world’s most influential influencers published by HypeAuditor, an A.I-based influencer marketing analysis company. Jungkook came in 12th place, boasting the impact of a worldwide superstar.
Among Jungkook’s 39 million Instagram followers, there are American actress Chloe Moretz, global pop stars Charlie Puth, Lauv, legendary guitarist Tom Morello of rock band Rage Against the Machine (RATM). Among Korean stars, Jay Park and Choi Woo Shik are also following Jungkook.
Jungkook’s personal Instagram account was first launched in December last year. It recorded more than 10 million followers in 4 hours and 40 minutes, 20 million followers in 2 days, and 30 million followers in 41 days.
