Actress Son Ye-jin expressed her feelings about her marriage with Hyun Bin.
At the press conference for JTBC’s new Wednesday-Thursday drama “Thirty Nine”, which was held on February 16th, Son Ye-jin greeted, “A great thing happened to me as an actress and as myself personally in early 2022. It’s like destiny”, adding, “I have received lots of congratulations. Taking this opportunity, I want to express my gratitude to you all”.
When MC Park Seul-gi congratulated Son Ye-jin on her wedding, the actress asked back, “How does it feel to get married, Seul-gi ssi?”. Park Seul-gi replied, “I feel really happy and that’s the best thing in this world”. Son Ye-jin smiled and said, “I hope I will feel the same”.
“Thirty Nine” tells about the friendship, love and life stories of three women, Cha Mi-jo (Son Ye-jin), Jung Chan-young (Jeon Mi-do) and Jang Joo-hee (Kim Ji-hyun), who are about to turn 40. For the first time in 4 years since her last work “Something in the Rain (Pretty Noona Who Buys Me Food” (2018), Son Ye-jin will make her comeback on the small screen through this JTBC drama. The actress shared, “After getting a little older, the ‘pretty noona who buys food’ has returned on JTBC”, adding, “Since ‘Something in the Rain’ was the first drama I starred in, it was such an unforgettable work. I hope ‘Thirty Nine’ would also receive so much love”.
Hyun Bin and Son Ye-jin will hold their wedding in Seoul next month. The two announced their marriage 1 year after confirming their romantic relationship in January last year. Hyun Bin and Son Ye-jin worked together in the 2018 movie “The Negotiaton” (directed by Lee Jong-seok). Before publicizing their relationship, the couple denied dating rumors 3 times. In January 2019, rumors broke out when the two were spotted dating at a mart in the U.S. Hyun Bin and Son Ye-jin then appeared in tvN’s drama “Crash Landing on You” (2019-2020) together, causing various rumors of marriage and breakup to arise.
