On July 19, Apink‘s Oh Ha-young posted several photos from her birthday celebration on her social media account, along with the caption, “Thank you for all the birthday wishes.”
In the photos, Oh Ha-young is seen enjoying a modest birthday gathering in a cozy space with fellow Apink members Jung Eun-ji, Kim Nam-joo, Yoon Bo-mi, and Park Cho-rong. A strawberry-topped cream cake and drinks are placed on the table, and the members, dressed casually, are smiling brightly at the camera.

However, what caught fans’ attention was the absence of former member Son Na-eun. Some netizens questioned the situation, saying, “They were together for 11 years—it’s strange that she wasn’t invited,” raising suspicions of a possible fallout. Others cautioned against overanalyzing, commenting, “She’s a former member now. It could’ve been a gathering just for current members.”

Previously, Son Na-eun announced her departure from Apink on April 8, 2022, just ahead of the group’s 11th debut anniversary. According to IST Entertainment at the time, the decision allowed her to focus on her acting career. Since then, she has taken lead roles in dramas like Ghost Doctor, Agency, and Romance in the House, carving out a new identity away from her idol roots.
While her absence may seem telling to some, there has been no official confirmation of any personal discord. In fact, the lack of direct communication or clarification is what continues to fuel speculation. For fans who still hold onto the six-member image of Apink, moments like this can stir nostalgia and, inevitably, questions.
