Son Na-eun will not participate in Apink’s comeback promotions… The reason YG revealed is?

While girl group Apink (Park Cho-rong, Yoon Bo-mi, Jung Eun-ji, Son Na-eun, Kim Nam-joo, Oh Ha-young) is making a comeback with a new album in February, Son Na-eun, who moved to YG Entertainment, will not participate in comeback activities.

On January 17th, Apink‘s agency IST Entertainment released a notice regarding the group’s special album activities in February, saying, “We did our best to adjust schedules and keep communication open so that Apink’s special album, which is for their meaningful 10th debut anniversary, would have all 6 members for the promotions.”

Apink’s agency shared, “However, due to sudden scheduling conflicts, all of Apink’s promotions except for the album jacket photos and the music video shoot will be carried out with 5 members (Cho-rong, Bo-mi, Eun-ji, Nam-joo, Ha-young).”

Except for Son Na-eun, only 5 members will be involved in the new album promotions.

Apink’s agency added, “We ask that fans, who have waited a long time for Apink’s comeback, take an understanding view of this statement.”

A day later, on January 18th, Son Na-eun’s agency YG Entertainment also officially announced its position.

YG Entertainment said, “Son Na-eun will not be able to participate in activities except for the album jacket photos and the music video shoot of Apink’s special album, which will be released in February, due to difficulties in coordinating the schedule for her next project under discussion.”

Son Na-eun confessed through YG Entertainment, “It’s a pity that we can’t be together this time due to schedule problems, but I ask for your support for the special album and the members.”

Son Na-eun moved to YG Entertainment last year. Except for Son Na-eun, 5 members Park Cho-rong, Yoon Bo-mi, Jung Eun-ji, Kim Nam-joo and Oh Ha-young renewed their contracts with the original agency.
