Some of T-ARA hit songs should be banned at Jiyeon’s wedding?

T-ARA Jiyeon is getting married this month, and fans hope to see her group T-ARA have fun at this special event.

On December 10th, T-ARA member Jiyeon will be tying the knot with famous baseball player Hwang Jae Kyung. The wedding will be held at the luxurious Shilla Hotel in Seoul, which was the marriage venue for many other top star couples such as Song Hye Kyo – Song Joong Ki and Jang Dong Gun – Go So Young.

Previously, it was reported that Jiyeon’s same-aged best friend IU will be singing a congratulatory song on the special day. As such, fans are hoping that other T-ARA members will also do the same.

For 2nd generation Kpop fans, T-ARA is a remarkable name with various megahits and outstanding achievements, standing their ground against SNSD, 2NE1, and many more.

However, due to accusations from former member Hwayoung, T-ARA was harshly condemned by netizens, and only managed to return years later, after their name was cleared. Two members also left the group in 2017, and T-ARA’s latest comeback was “Tiki Taka” in 2021, where they promoted with a 4-member lineup.

As a result, many fans hope to see the 6-member lineup of T-ARA again at Jiyeon’s wedding, and even suggest they perform the group’s hits like “Bo Peep Bo Peep”, “Roly Poly”, “Lovey Dovey”, and so on.

“Bo Peep Bo Peep” has a cute choreography
“Roly Poly” is cheerful and energetic
“Lovey Dovey” will rile up the crowd

However, fans also point out that some T-ARA songs, such as “We Were In Love”, “Cry Cry”, or “Day By Day” should be banned from the event since they are too solemn, and as such, are ill-fitted for a wedding.

“We Were In Love” is too depressing for a wedding
“Cry Cry” is eliminated right from its title
“Day By Day” is no less solemn
