Various topics have emerged about the alleged past transgressions of Sohee, a member in SM’s new boy group RIIZE.
After SM Entertainment revealed the 7-member lineup for its upcoming boy group RIIZE, various images and rumors started to speculate on line.
So far, right after the announcement, Sohee from SM’s new boy group RIIZE faces various accusations, which ranges from underage smoking and drinking, going to “hunting bars” to school violence.
In particular, an internet user on Nate Pann, who claimed to be Sohee’s past classmate, has published photos of a yearbook with the male idol, and added, “He often wore the school uniform as he went out to smoke and drink alcohol with his friends. In fact, his girlfriend was also a gangster. If anyone said something about him, his entire gang would gather to curse at them. Those people even mocked and made fun of an introverted kid in class”.
Meanwhile, a Twitter user also published yearbook photos before saying, “I went to the same school as Sohee, and he was a real bully. He was always smoking with his friends who are the same… Don’t become his fan.”
Another netizen also commented, “How can someone like him debut? My friend rejected his love confession and was tormented by him. A lot of people know about this”
On top of all these, Sohee was previously accused of having gone to “hunting bars” to meet and flirt with women.
However, while many are criticizing SM for including such a controversial member in RIIZE, many have taken a neutral stance and expressed their suspicions.
In particular, these netizens pointed out that the claims against Sohee are not backed up by any concrete evidence, and mentioned that back when aespa first debut, various false accusations against the members were also raised.
