BLACKPINK Jennie has caused several debates about how tall she is in real life. On August 1, the issue is raised again after two photos of the idol during the latest “BORN PINK” concert went viral on social media.
In the images, Jennie looks considerably shorter than other members, despite information in her profile stating that she is 1cm higher than Jisoo. Many fans explain it might have been because of the camera angles and the members’ standing positions that made the female rapper look smaller than she actually is.

In another one, Jennie appears considerably shorter than Jisoo, even though the “SOLO” singer’s profile states she is 163cm tall, 1cm taller than Jisoo. Fans claim it is too soon to say whether Jennie lies about her height, as the released photo was taken from the side
During the shooting for “The Idol,” an image reveals Jennie to be shorter than Lily-Rose Depp, who is 160cm tall, according to several online sources. Nonetheless, viewers affirm Depp’s actual height is 165cm, so Jennie’s height is around 162-163cm tall, matching the information on her profile
Another airport photo of four BLACKPINK members also shows Jennie looking shorter than Jisoo, even though both of them wore flat shoes. However, fans believe the sizes of the soles may be different; hence, it is still too soon to conclude that Jennie lies about her height
