SM New Boy Group RIIZE Faces Pre-Debut Controversies: Accusations of Hunting Bar and School Bullying

Rumors involving RIIZE Sohee and Wonbin have surfaced.

A tweet about SM upcoming boy group RIIZE’s member Wonbin dating back to 2020 has recently ignited interest again. At that time, three SM trainees appeared in a photo speculated to be the new members of NCT as they attended a wedding of an SM staff member. Although they were all wearing masks, the one wearing a beanie is said to be Wonbin.

Back then, a netizen came forward claiming to have attended the same school as Wonbin, alleging that he was a bully in the past and hoping that he wouldn’t debut in NCT.

Another RIIZE member, Sohee, has also found himself embroiled in a scandal when past photos were leaked, exposing his apparent association with hunting bars. These bars are infamous for being places where individuals go to pick up girls and find FWBs.

These accusations have raised concerns about Wonbin and Sohee’s suitability for the idol image and the impact this might have on RIIZE’s reputation ahead of their debut.

Born in 2002 and 2003, respectively, Wonbin and Sohee were officially introduced by SM on July 31st as members of the highly anticipated upcoming boy group RIIZE.

Currently, SM has yet to give a comment on these rumors about Wonbin and Sohee.
