“Behind Your Touch” drops still cuts of Han Ji Min & Lee Min Ki bickering while eating gukbap, heralding explosive chemistry
Han Ji Min and Lee Min Ki meet and form a “comic duo” in the new drama “Behind Your Touch”.
On July 31st, the production team of JTBC’s new Sat-Sun series “Behind Your Touch” released story still cuts.
“Behind Your Touch” is a comedy investigative series and it will air as the follow-up drama to “King the Land”.
Against the backdrop of the crime-free and clean rural village Mujin, the chemistry of veterinarian Bong Ye Bun (Han Ji Min) who can see the past of animals and humans with her psychometric power, and elite detective Moon Jang Yeol (Lee Min Ki) is expected to excite viewers.
The two solve minor crime cases among peaceful but suspicious villagers. One day, they get involved in a serial murder case and cooperate with each other.
The still cuts show Han Ji Min and Lee Min Ki bickering while having a meal together.
While Han Ji Min, who appears with curly hair, is hurriedly eating gukbap (rice with soup), Lee Min Ki keeps talking enthusiastically.
Moreover, the scene where they meet somewhere dark and scream while facing each other also stimulates drama fans’ curiosity about the story.
Regarding her co-star Lee Min Ki, Han Ji Min shared, “We had many comedy scenes together. He was very flexible in acting, so I found the filming comfortable”, adding “He’s an actor with a mature broad-mindedness, there are many aspects of him that I wanted to resemble”.
She continued, “The relationship between Ye Bun and Jang Yeol is like Tom and Jerry as they cannot stop bickering. However, they are also partners who are always by each other’s side”, adding “Participating in an investigation together, they naturally get to know and understand each other’s pain and comfort each other”.
Lee Min Ki also expressed his thoughts about working with Han Ji Min, saying “I had great chemistry with Han Ji Min. I personally liked Bong Ye Bun and completely fall over Han Ji Min’s portrayal of this character. She created a character I’ve never seen in any other work”.
Meanwhile, “Behind Your Touch” marks the reunion of JTBC’s “The Light in Your Eyes” director Kim Seok Yoon and screenwriter Lee Nam Gyu after four years.
With the appearance of Han Ji Min, who led “The Light in Your Eyes”, drama fans raise anticipation for “Behind Your Touch” to become a “trustworthy” drama.
The first episode will air at 10:30 p.m. on August 12th.
