SM to Unveil a New Girl Group after aespa? Official SNS Already Opened?
A movement from SM Entertainment has raised suspicions that the agency will unveil a new girl group after aespa.
On February 21, netizens discovered that SM Entertainment has registered the trademark for the name “WICHU”, according to the official website of the Korea Intellectual Property Rights Information Service.
In particular, the trademark application was submitted on February 20, under General Trademark and Internal trademark.
Additionally, accounts bearing the same name can be found on SNS platforms X and Instagram, raising suspicions that “WICHU” will be the name for SM Entertainment’s upcoming girl group.
If true, this will be SM’s first girl group to debut after aespa, raising anticipation and is expected to draw massive attention.
