SHINee member Key boasted of a special friendship with Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon.
In the video posted on SHINee’s official YouTube channel on July 22, Taemin, Key, and Minho discussed whether the man in their song “One For Me” should confess to the girl. The man comforts his female friend after she breaks up with her boyfriend and calls him, while being silently glad about her breakup.
Key said, “If this guy is friends with the girl’s ex-boyfriend, I don’t think he should do anything.“
On the other hand, Taemin said, “I think it’s bad for the girl to make that call. I don’t believe in just being friends between men and women.”
To this, Key surprised Taemin by saying, “It could be possible. I could even take a half-body bath with Taengoo (Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon’s nickname).”
Taeyeon and SHINee share the same agency, SM Entertainment. Taeyeon, in particular, is famous for her close friendship with all the SHINee members.
