On October 3 KST, SM Entertainment revealed through its official monitoring system, KWANGYA 119, that it continues to pursue legal action against those spreading false rumors, engaging in defamation, sexual harassment, deepfake content, and personal insults toward its artists.
KWANGYA 119 serves as a reporting platform for fans to submit evidence of online abuse. Combining these submissions with data gathered by the company’s own surveillance, SM Entertainment has steadily built cases against malicious individuals.

In a firm statement, the agency warned: “Any act that causes physical or psychological harm to our artists will be considered unlawful and subject to civil and criminal liability. We advise everyone to exercise caution to avoid facing legal consequences.”
As one of K-pop’s largest agencies, SM Entertainment manages a powerhouse lineup including BoA, TVXQ, Super Junior, Girls’ Generation, SHINee, EXO, Red Velvet, NCT, WayV, aespa, RIIZE, and more. The company reaffirmed its commitment to protecting its artists and ensuring a safe environment for their careers and personal lives.
