SM director BoA became the 700th member of the W Honor Society

BoA, a singer and registered director of SM Entertainment, showed support for adolescents and became a member of the W Honor Society.

On January 17th, BoA donated 100 million won to the Social Welfare Community Chest of Korea. The donation will be used to support the self-reliance of adolescents who will be making their own lives.

BoA, who shows support for adolescents who had to become adults early, donated the proceeds from her self-made padded muffler through the 2020 donation project “Little Bird”. This money will be used as scholarships for adolescents who will be relying on themselves.

With this donation, BoA became the 3100th member of the Honor Society and the 700th member of the “W Honor Society”, a group of female honor members.

The W Honor Society is a gathering of female honor members, which was launched in September 2017 with the intention of improving the quality of life for women. After BoA joined on January 17th, the society now consists of 700 members.

Regarding her donation, BoA said, “I hope that it will be a small help, so that children who have to take their first step into society on their own can always move forward in a good direction without losing their dreams.”

Meanwhile, on January 16th, BoA, alongside aespa’s Winter and Karina, Red Velvet’s Wendy and Seulgi, and SNSD’s Taeyeon and Hyoyeon, released their first mini-album “Stamp On It” was the SM supergroup GOT the Beat.
