Sister of TWICE’s Momo Constantly Criticized for her Appearance, Even Told to Get Plastic Surgery

The older sister of TWICE’s Momo has revealed the various hardships she faced for being family with a celebrity.

TWICE member Momo‘s older sister, Hana, who is also active as a dancer in Japan, honestly confessed the hardships she faced as a family member of a celebrity.

In particular, on a broadcast on Fuji TV on April 16, Hana confessed that people often compare herself to her sister Momo.

“People keep making comparisons with my sister. Even though my sister is an idol, I also dance… People often compare our appearances”, Hana expressed, adding that due to these comments, her confidence has plummeted.

“Since Momo has a better style, taller height, and is slimmer, there are many cases where I am compared with my sister in terms of appearance”, Hana also lamented.

Moreover, Hana revealed that she often hears comments like “You and your sister look nothing alike. It would be good (for you) to get plastic surgery”, shocking those present at the scene.

Usually, Hana posts pictures with her sister Momo on her social networking service. Netizens often compare the appearances of the two or leave comments that seem to belittle Hana’s appearance, which seems to have affected her self-esteem.

Meanwhile, Hana, who is TWICE’s Momo’s elder sister and a dancer, was born in 1994 and started learning dance at the age of 4. It is known that around the sixth grade of elementary school, she joined a dance team with her sister and began dancing in earnest, and she is also actively working as a choreographer.
