Sisley Choi rose to fame after finishing as runner-up at the 2013 Miss Hong Kong pageant before signing with TVB as an actress. Over the years, however, her career became overshadowed by repeated allegations of being involved in romantic scandals with attached male co-stars, earning her a harsh reputation among netizens.
On March 2, Chinese outlet 163 reported that TVB had terminated its contract with Choi following a series of high-profile controversies. Her profile has reportedly been removed from the broadcaster’s official website, marking the end of a 13-year partnership. In a further sign of the split, Choi also deleted her TVB manager’s contact information from her Instagram bio.

Once considered a favored talent at the network, she now finds herself without the backing of Hong Kong’s television giant. Many viewers reacted with open satisfaction, saying they would no longer have to see her in prime-time dramas.
Choi’s image has long been marred by allegations of romantic entanglements with male actors who were reportedly in relationships at the time. One of the earliest controversies involved Fred Cheng, her co-star in the drama Officer Geomancer. Media reports at the time claimed the two were secretly dating while Fred Cheng had a girlfriend.

Soon after, while filming Young Charioteers, Choi was linked to two actors simultaneously Adrian Chau and Him Law. Reports alleged she was seen visiting Adrian Chau’s residence before later meeting Law privately, despite Law being on the verge of marrying actress Tavia Yeung. Law and Yeung ultimately overcame the controversy and married.
The most explosive scandal, however, involved actor Vincent Wong. Rumors of their relationship surfaced while they were working together on Legal Mavericks, despite Wong being married to actress Yoyo Chen. Public backlash intensified when Choi appeared to openly display her affection at the 2018 TVB Anniversary Awards after Wong won Best Actor.

In 2020, reports claimed Wong publicly celebrated Choi’s birthday, and in 2021, the two walked hand-in-hand on the red carpet at a TVB event, drawing fierce criticism. Meanwhile, Yoyo Chen appeared alone, further igniting public outrage. Although Wong and Choi eventually ended their rumored relationship, Wong and Chen have reportedly separated but not formally divorced.
With her contract now terminated, Sisley Choi’s future in the entertainment industry remains uncertain. Whether she will secure acting opportunities elsewhere remains to be seen, but for now, her departure from TVB marks a dramatic turning point in a career long entangled in controversy.
