‘Evil Edit’ or ‘plot twist’?… “Show Me The Money 11” preview shows Lee Young-ji sobbing after being given the “fake rapper” tag

Rapper Lee Young-ji cries on “Show Me The Money 11”?

On October 11th, the preview for Mnet’s “Show Me The Money 11” was released. This 2 minutes and 45 seconds video contains the interesting points in episode 1.

The first round of “Show Me The Money 11” was held last August. At that time, Lee Young-ji, who is known as an ‘MZ Generation’ icon and winner of Mnet’s “High School Rapper 3”, drew keen attention as she was said to have participated in the competition this time.

At the end of the preview video, there is a scene in which Lee Young-ji seems to be sobbing.

The preview shows Lee Young-ji being named as the only rapper to be the candidate for elimination. Lee Young-ji is also seen having the tag ‘FAKE’ on her chest. In addition, there is also the voice of someone saying “You’re really a fake rapper”.

From the backstage view, Lee Young-ji is revealed to be wiping away her tears. In her personal interview with the production team, she cries and says, “I think I looked very pathetic. I don’t often cry like this. I’ve never cried like this in my life.”

At the end of the video, there is a scene in which Lee Young-ji seems to be leaving her seat and greeting, “You’ve done well”.

Responses from Internet users were divided. Some speculate that it is Mnet’s “evil edit” again, while others claim it a “twist”.

One netizen commented, “Don’t you guys know about Mnet’s evil edit trick? Lee Young-ji is the most popular among the contestants so I already knew she would be evil edited. Rappers who are named in the preview won’t be eliminated”.

On the other hand, another netizen said, “Lee Young-ji might have made a mistake? There is also a possibility that she cried after being eliminated in the very first round”.

Meanwhile, “Show Me The Money 11” will air its first episode at 11 p.m on October 21st.
