Because both announcements used nearly identical wording, many fans quickly connected the two situations — assuming Shizuku was the unnamed female idol mentioned in the exposé.
According to earlier reports, the female idol was allegedly unaware that Shosei was already in a relationship, suggesting she was not at fault. Despite this, both idols were penalized equally, prompting a wave of criticism toward the agency.
