The Japanese entertainment industry is mourning the loss of actor Shinsaku Shimazaki, who passed away on September 6 at the age of 32 due to a brain hemorrhage.
Shockingly, his death went unnoticed by fans and colleagues for a month, as his family chose to keep the tragedy private and held a quiet funeral before informing his management and the public.

According to NHK, the news of Shimazaki’s passing was only revealed on October 7, sending shockwaves through Japanese showbiz. What makes the loss even more heartbreaking is that the actor died just four days before his 33rd birthday.
His management agency issued a statement expressing their grief:
“The event was so sudden that all of us are still struggling to believe it. Shimazaki Shinsaku participated in many works as an actor, giving audiences both touching moments and smiles. We sincerely express our deep gratitude for his contributions and thank all fans, colleagues, and partners who supported him. According to his family’s wishes, the funeral was held privately.”

Born in 1993, Shinsaku Shimazaki was once a well-known child star in Japan, starting his career in stage plays from a young age. Later, he expanded into acting and also performed with the theater group Hot Generation, founded by his mother. Known for his versatility and talent, Shimazaki built a respected reputation in the industry.
Following the announcement of his passing, fellow Japanese artists shared their sorrow and confirmed that a tribute and memorial event will be held later in October to honor his life and career.

Fans and colleagues alike remain in disbelief that such a promising actor, who grew up before the public eye, is gone so suddenly. His untimely death is a reminder of how fragile life can be, leaving behind a legacy of performances that touched many hearts.
